Strengthening Community Partnerships & Expanding Opportunities
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada, we believe mentorship is built through shared experiences. With the relaunch of our Community Partner Interest Form, we are proud to highlight a renewed and growing network of community partnerships that make those experiences more accessible, meaningful, and impactful for our Bigs and Littles.
This relaunch is more than an update. It represents a stronger, more connected way for Matches to engage with their community. It ensures that opportunities are easy to find, clearly communicated, and ready to be experienced together.
Why Community Partnerships Matter
Mentorship happens in the moments Bigs and Littles share together in the community. Whether it’s trying something new, working through a challenge side by side, or simply spending intentional time together, these shared experiences are where relationships grow stronger.
Our community partners play a critical role in making these moments possible.
By offering discounted or free experiences, partners help remove financial barriers and create access to opportunities that encourage growth, confidence, and connection. These experiences allow Littles to explore new interests, develop skills, and build memories with their Bigs that extend far beyond a single outing.
This is mentorship in action, and it is powered by our community.

Through partnerships like Playful Potter, Bigs and Littles can sit side by side and bring their creativity to life, turning a simple activity into a shared memory. At the National Automobile Museum, Matches can explore history together, sparking curiosity and conversation as they walk through exhibits.
Opportunities for growth continue at Mesa Rim Climbing Center, where Matches build confidence and problem-solve together on the wall, and at Orangetheory Fitness, where they can challenge themselves physically and support one another through movement.
Moments of pure fun and connection come to life at Fly High Adventure Parks, while curiosity and hands-on learning are sparked at The Discovery Museum, where Matches can explore, build, and discover together.
Each of these partners is doing more than offering a service. They are creating space for mentorship to grow, for confidence to build, and for meaningful relationships to thrive.
Expanding the Impact
This relaunch marks an exciting step forward, but it is only the beginning.
We are actively working to expand our network of community partners so that every Match has access to even more opportunities across Northern Nevada. From creative studios to fitness spaces, museums to adventure parks, each new partnership adds another pathway for connection and growth. As we continue to grow, our goal is simple: to make it easier for every Big and Little to say “yes” to new experiences together.
